Frequently Asked Questions –
Quick Star Cars Wash
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I wash my car in Sharjah's climate?
Sharjah’s heat, humidity, and sand mean dust and grime build up faster than in milder climates. We recommend a full wash every 1–2 weeks, with a steam wash or detail once a month to protect your paintwork from UV damage and sand abrasion.
What's the difference between a steam wash and a regular car wash?
A regular wash uses water and soap to rinse away surface dirt. A steam wash uses high-temperature vapour to lift embedded dirt, grease, and bacteria from both the exterior and interior — using up to 90% less water, and it’s gentler on paint and upholstery since there’s no scrubbing involved.
Do I need an appointment for a car wash or detailing service?
No appointment is needed for most washing and detailing services — just drive in to our Al Sajaa Industrial Area location. For mechanical services like 10K scheduled maintenance or AC repair, we recommend messaging us on WhatsApp first so we can prepare the right parts and time slot.
How much does a full car wash cost in Sharjah at Quick Star?
Pricing depends on vehicle size: Full Wash starts at Dhs 30 for a Salon, Dhs 35 for an SUV, and Dhs 40 for a 4×4 or GMC/Hiace. Steam Wash starts at Dhs 100 for a Salon. VAT and diesel surcharges apply where relevant — see our full Packages page for the complete price list.
Can I get my car serviced and washed in one visit?
Quick Star Cars Wash Center combines washing, detailing, and mechanical maintenance under one roof in Al Sajaa Industrial Area — so you can get an oil change, brake check, and steam wash done in a single visit instead of going to separate specialists.
